About the challenge
ONHacks is a beginner-friendly hackathon for high school students in Ontario and the GTA area. The hackathon is about learning new things, discovering a passion for projects that students were visualizing but not creating, and diving into territory that breaks the boundaries of creativity.
Get started
To get started, just build anything you want! Think about what you've been wanting to create for a while or a hobby that you have, and base your project off of that! The whole world is there for you to explore, so brainstorm some ideas and get building!
Requirements
What to Build
You can build anything you like for the hackathon! From amazing games to robots that learn how to talk, make any creative idea that your mind has. If you don't know where to start, take a look at the tracks we provided and take inspiration from there.
What to Submit
Once you're done creating your project, get ready to submit:
- Your github repository (or some other link to your code/project)
- A short 5 minute presentation to our judges (a demo of the project, a slideshow, anything that shows off what you've created)
- Optionally, a video showing all the details of the project if you missed anything in your presentation!
